Which anxiety meds/why

Dear All - I would really appreciate your suggestions on what meds would be the best to deal with acute anxiety. I'm already on sertraline (zoloft) and been having panic attacks like crazy these last few days. Called the crisis team earlier today and they said I should set up an appointment with my doctor tomorrow morning and ask for anxiety meds…I know some meds make you way worse, some are slower than others etc… ...

yes ANOTHER thread posted about FACEBOOK

people can hate something and enjoy it at the same time... right?

I KNOW this type of thread has been done probably SEVERAL TIMES by now but yes, I am posting another one.

FACEBOOK IS DRIVING ME NUTS but at the same time, i really LIKE Facebook. SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE A FACEBOOK and it allows me to stay CONNECTED with people whom I barely see or talk to in a more impersonal way. For ...

Long time no see.... seasonal mood swings?

I've been having a lot of issues dealing with mood swings, mostly rage and depression, and I'm just trying to understand myself. It feels like this happens every year, though it's so hard to be certain.... according to others, (and I sometimes question myself, myself), I have selective memory. So it's hard for me to keep track of things long term.

I was just hoping someone would have some input. It's been a long time ...

really thorough workbook suggestions?

I wanted to ask my therapist if she could get a workbook for me, or something of the sort, to accompany my therapy. Any suggestions?

Being angry and not knowing it.

"I'm not angry"

Still trying to solve a mystery in my mind about a frequent occurrence with my BPD x-girlfriend.

sometime would be said or happen (usually probably my fault) and my x-g would become rigid and start talking to me with a seething tone of voice.
"I would listen, and then eventually say "I understand what you are saying but why are you so angry?"

She would always respond "I am not angry" She ...

Drugs?

This thread will get pulled I think, so don't go listing stuff and being reckless. Do you take drugs to cope, do you take them to escape? Is there a link between substance abuse and BPD?

Manipulating others b/c it's difficult to connect with them?

So, I had a moment of insight the other day.

Reading up on BPD in the new DSM (dsm-v), it says that borderlines manipulate other to gain the care and nurturing. At first I was indignant that they still put this in the DSM.. But then when I thought about my past relationships.. And I realized I do this.. I dont realize that I'm doing it when I'm doing it, and it isn't done maliciously, ...

clinging to the past

does anyone else have really vivid memories about something specific when they felt 'happy'?
i have it about this school trip in particular, and i think about it all the time, play the music i listened to there, look at photos of it etc..
it makes me happy thinking about it, yet at the same time it makes me sort of sad because i want to do it again and i can't? i don't know?

Abandonment - suggestions sorely needed

Dear members...I need your advise desperately.

My husband who's been incredibly supportive since my BPD diagnosis in June said he needs to go away for a few weeks to just be himself. He says he just wants some peace to find himself again and chill out. His plan is to return but wouldn't give me an exact date. I trust him but I'm terrified also.

Now here's the tricky part. I have abandonment issues. When ...
