Are there others on this board who are adult children of BPD parent/parents?

My mother has been recently diagnosed with BPD (with narcissistic traits). I have sort of known for along time about this particular disorder and at one point I have thought that I might be BPD. I was really afraid of it. But basically it comes down to that I was raised by a BPD mother.

I've been through a hell of a ride, with my relationships. I started to see a therapist and was diagnosed add/covert depression but, being who I am, I have dug deeper and researched and ended up in this forum.

My on and off again relationship made me realize something is wrong. It's been 8 months with this woman, I think we are both a little bit bpd and npd and therefor driving each other bonkers. ...

I'm having one. Well, I was. I'm dissociative now. Haven't felt emotion for a day or two. Except for panic. I felt anxiety a little yesterday. That was probably from the benzo wearing off.

I know in the past I have acted out in relationships, I became insecure and tried to hurt myself. I did it once when I was in my teens and then 3 years ago when my ex left me.

I have hope because I am in a new marriage and I know that this guy adores me and would never ignore me. I have hope that my borderline personality won't be a problem this time. ...

The ex I lived with for 7years was NPD, so I have read and learned a lot about NPD.

Recently I started seeing a new therapist, after the previous one has passed away. This therapist has suggested that my mother might be BPD overlapping NPD. I guess this was kind of shocking, I would have never thought of her being NPD. BPD, ...
