News of Borderline Personality Disorder Forum

Have any of you had different diagnoses. I've been diagnosed with schizophrenia, psychosis nos, borderline personality disorder, depression, complex ptsd. All at different stages. The schizophrenia diagnosis has been debunked. The psychiatrist I had at the time wasn't very good. The most diagnosis I get is borderline these days but my current psychiatrist says I have symptoms of psychosis, bipolar and borderline. Does anyone else have multiple diagnoses like this?

So all the years we were pushed from pillar to post. One shrink, 2 shrinks, even 3. Psychology, psychotherapy, crisis lines, repeating your story over and over again. Each time the story gets more confusing. As the years go by you join up to workshops and support groups. Depression workshops, anxiety workshops, confidence workshops. I am depressed.. this workshop will help... All the time not knowing this was just one other symptom eating away ...

Hi there. I'm new to this forum, so hopefully this isn't a redundant post. I have an old, childhood friend whom I suspect might have Borderline Personality Disorder. Her 19 year old daughter still lives with her and I suspect she ALSO has Borderline Personality Disorder, along with Narcisisstic Personality Disorder. I don't know really where to start with this one.

It's just a general warning to anyone with BPD that they need to avoid certain forums, websites and books on BPD. I'm not sure if I can name names here.

Many forums, websites and books for families of people with BPD, look supportive from the outside. But beware, they are extremely triggering and reinforce the idea that the pwBPD is the problem in the family ...

Christ, I just got out of the damn hospital a week ago. I shouldn't be this stressed already. It's all happening again. I'm having constant mood swings, feeling tremendously lonely, self-harming again... I want a drink so bad, but I closed my tab at the liquor store last time and have no money. Both of my contacts won't sell me anything, the useless b*****ds. They think they're doing right by me, but I want to ...

Don't get me wrong, I do have a GREAT husband. We have close to 0 arguments which is near impossible for nons even. But, this issue keeps coming up throughout the years...

When something is bothering me, I obsess over it until either it's resolved or something worse happens and I forget about it. He has told me to talk to him about whatever is bothering me. I can't just talk about it for ten ...

I have lots for stress and anxiety when I am at work. I feel like people don't like me and I am different! If someone questions me or gives me negative feed back I get supper emotional! I have a good job and I need to work for my son. I just hate feeling uncomfortable for 8 hours a day! Does anyone else feel this way?
