Not Coping Well With The World

There always seems a set back in my life. Although Im an atheist, Im starting to believe some divine power is slowly eating away at my life like some sort of parasite.

A few weeks ago I got rejected from a Photography BA course, Id put my heart and soul into applying for, because they thought I couldn't commit given how Id moved around a lot, started uni twice before etc. I can see their ...

physical health and BPD

Does anyone suffer physical health or pains problems along with BPD ?

I tend to have a lot of physical pain in my muscles and joints, lethargy and even headaches/neckaches ... crap ears and nausea.... it makes it harder for me to have the energy to get up and find exercises to join or hobbies etc. I sometimes feel 80.

Diets, exercises and supplements

I was wondering how many of you have tried to adapt your diet/exercise regime in the aim of improving physical and mental health. I was vegetarian for years, but a few weeks ago I finally caved and began to eat oily fish after hearing a lot of health professionals recommend it for the fatty acids, which can help the heart and brain.

In terms of exercise, I've always loved cycling but have decided to do ...

"Toolbox"

Do you have one? If so, what's in it? Maybe this is something I've just made up...I'm not sure! But I've recently made one.

Basically it's a storage cube filled with things to help me in crisis or even if I just want some comfort (no, I didn't mean spanners etc!) Thinking clearly enough to get myself there will be the tough part. Once I've reached my "toolbox" I'm sure it'll help. I've included:

Play-Doh ...

Life... *Trigger Warning*

Well, I had a pretty terrible meltdown today. I really need to learn how to control my emotions. Sometimes I just let them sweep me away and go into fits of rage/crying/screaming and throwing things (basically just acting like a child). I am on some pretty good medications, but when my stress level is up, that is usually when I see my symptoms re-surface. It is embarrassing because I am a grown women and ...

BPD - relationship problems

I am a 34 year old man and have had relationship problems all my life. I struggle to make friends, I am extremely tense in social situations, I feel people will not like my and that I am totally inadequate.

My intimate relationships have been characterised by bouts of jealousy, suspicion, fear of abandonment, a sense of not being good enough for my partner (I always think she'll run away with another man), constant idealisation ...

What happens if I can't take Lamictal for a couple of days?

I've been on 200mg of Lamictal for just under 2 years now.

I unfortunately accidentally did not get the right amount of medication from my psychiatrist the last time I saw her.

I could go and pick it up today, but I'm being really stubborn because I was meant to do something for homework AGES ago and I'm only going to do it tomorrow. So I want to go and pick it up the day ...

Borderline & Bipolar II - Medication Experience?

Hi everyone,

I was originally diagnosed as just Borderline (+ dependent & anxiety), but I reacted really weirdly to SSRI, with extreme manic phases (I did some crazy stuff during that time, so I don't mean the very productive 'fun' phases that some people describe). With mood stabilzers (Cyprexa) I had another strange experience - I took them for 6 month and have barely any memory of that time. According to my partner I was ...
