what's "BMI"? Thanks! I dealt w/ bulimia, not anorexia....this is good information to share....I was not aware of anything like this. Guest, do you suffer from anorexia as well? You could share some very beneficial information and maybe from your personal experiences as well for our poster here.

can a person be functional with medication, like at work? or he is disabling me so i can't think and not function? i'm just alive but dead inside.

not just the light, but the bulbs itself are different watts etc then a sun lamp... forgot to mention that when I said the lights were different meaning the bulbs.

Because lightboxes are for depression, seasonal depression, you almost get a perscription for it pretty much through your doctor to purchase one.

The lights are different, you can't grow anything with the lightboxes, it's the sun but without the UV pretty much.

so then what is a lightbox and why are they better than the classic sun lamps. i use a sun lamp that is made for growing flowers and shine it on my self.

has anyone here either had or know someone who binges who has had the gastric bypass surgery? i am looking into having it done - the "band" kind, where they put a like a belt around your stomach that can be adjusted by doctors, if needed, and i have had a history of binging. i am doing it mostly because of my diabetes - it (along with the binging) is making my weight get out ...
