Need advice on eating habits

Hello,
I`m new here, and it took me a quite a while to realize I have issues.
I moved to a country with a very different culture, I barely have any friends, never been in a relationship, work 24/7, I don`t have much money and my sole consolation for these past 3 years has been eating.

I have a somewhat weak stomach, my pancreas hurts from time to time, I`m overweight, I overeat but I ...

Binge Eating Support

Hi Everyone,

Firstly I'd like to say how happy I am to have found this forum. The last few years of my life have been weighed down with shame and confusion over my eating behaviours. To finally identify that I have a problem has lifted a weight off my shoulders and shone a ray of hope into my dark , secretive world.

My binge eating has become so out of control that I am unable ...

Binged again

Just binged again. I feel terrible, physically and emotionally, and fear I'll keep doing it the rest of the day (you know, once I can actually put food in my mouth without wanting to barf). Can anyone give me advice on what they do to refrain from bingeing after a binge?

Thin bingers’ stigma

Binge eating has never gotten as much attention as other food-related disorders (or even other disorders in general), so I haven’t thought about this issue until talking to an acquaintance. We were on a trip together (in a group) and somehow the chat turned to food-related issues. The talk was quite light in its nature, so we didn’t get deep, but I shared some of my experiences and she did too. However, even though I ...

Marijuana and binge eating

I have always had an unhealthy relationship with food. I remember being 10 year's old when I was told I was "fat" and I couldn't understand what it meant either. I was more confused than upset when I had heard this. I then became curious about why my body and my appearance was so important. When i went on my first diet at 11, my family that never used to "accept" me, all of a ...

Food Abstinence

Greysheeters, Overeaters Anonymous - Food Abstinence

Choosing to be Food Abstinent. I commit my food and behavior to a sponsor. It is the most important choice I make every day. I value my abstinence more than counting the days and months. Food addiction is not about weight loss. Food addiction is not about clean or dirty eating. Food addiction recovery is about changing your biology. Distractions won't cure a food addiction. You have to replace ...

recurrent binge eating

I'm new on this forum. 48 years old mother, I have binge eating twice a week for 6 months now. I had a few years ago and took 20 kilos, then I lost that weight with weight watchers method. 6 months ago, binge eating came back, and I have taken 3 kilos. I would like to stop it, but I can't find the solution. I just discover this forum.

Breakfast/Lunch Routine

My weight has fluctuated a lot over the years and I've found that getting into a routine with meals is the best for my weight.

Breakfast: Oatmeal or eggs or granola/fruit
Lunch: Salad
Dinner: varies widely

I find that if I eat a healthy breakfast and lunch, I eat a fairly healthy dinner. I keep a routine for breakfast and lunch and use dinner as kind of a cheat meal occasionally (still moderate portions).

Today is the day I admit I have a problem.

Hi.
I have never posted in a forum before, but here goes. I have a binge eating problem. I have had it for the past 4 months or so. It all started 6 months ago when I decided to start a diet. At first I was doing really well. I stopped eating junk food and sweets, reduced meal sizes and begun exercising. I was eating healthily for once so, naturally, I started losing weight.
But, ...

Recovery (?)

Hey everyone,

This is my first time posting here but I found this forum as a result of me struggling with relatively intense binge eating urges at the moment and looking for some help.

Though I'd like to think I've begun recovering from binge eating starting this year, recovery has presented me with an entirely different set of challenges. Recovery came about from me reaching a breaking point last year where I got so fed ...
