I think i am actually going crazy & my avpd is spiralling into other problems due to its binding nature.
Im becoming more & more neurotic about my appearance and about any ...

doesn't it seem as though a person learns to deal with avpd

It seems as though I am learning to deal with avpd as I get older. Ihave pretty much had this disorder all my life, and it like I know how to control it and make it better. Now that I know all the symptoms of the disorder, I can go on the necessary steps to do something about it.

Feeling totally and completely lost

This is kind of hard to explain how I feel at the moment but I'll try. There were and are many times where I feel lost, and I know everyone at some time or another does, but this is beyond that. I recently realized that I am beyond lost, I am completely directionless. I not only have no idea where I'm going but also no idea what I'm doing. I seem to get by day ...

Getting a diagnosis

Greetings everyone. I'm new to the forum and I apologize for starting a new thread right off the bat. I've done a lot of internet research over the past few months in between attempts at treatment with my different therapists and psychiatrists. Though I've been seeing people about my conditions off and on for about two years now, I'm pretty sure I haven't even gotten a decent diagnosis, much less any helpful treatment.

I'm almost ...
