hello,
i'm on the edge of a add dx, but i have a few questions before i start taking meds

i'm a recording artist and i wanted to know if anyone found that meds such as dexedrine blunted creativity... thats a big nono for me.
also, do meds tend to ease social anxiety?
will my ability to concentrate without the meds get even worse once i start taking them?

Hey everyone. I take Catapres for my ADHD. Does anyone else on here take this for it? It is actually a blood pressure medication from what I understand but it can also help with ADHD. My previous psychiatrist put me on it and my current psychiatrist decided to keep me on it. Is this a common treatment for ADHD in adults?

I am extremely anxious all the time, but I also have all the symptoms of adult ADHD (which I started looking at because it runs in my family). Could these be related / the same problem? Is it possible that if I get treated for ADHD the anxiety will ease?

The title says it all. Can ADHD cause severe memory problems? For example, when I was at the movies today, I would confuse the name of the characters etc and it was really bothering me. Any thoughts?
