I Find Safety In This

Ok, so I want to post here to see if anyone else can relate and give me advice for this.
I have been diagnosed with Asperger's just fairly recently (the past few years), and I think it explains this behavior. My entire life, I have been fixated on cartoon and fictional characters. I love them, I love the way they look and act. There is one in particular that I find to be particularly attracted ...

Do you like or loath being touched?

I'm usually aversive to it regardless of whether or not it's family, or someone I don't know well. Rarely will I be alright with it.

The Last Few Days Have Not Been Fun...

This week has been a stressful one for me, starting on Tuesday.
I went to Aikido as per usual, but I had forgotten my belt, which naturally freaked me out a little. Then because I had forgotten my belt I had to lead the warm ups, which freaked me out more, and then at the end sensei asked me why I had asked my friend to count for me in one of the sections of ...

Do you have a 'cringy' voice?

Maybe this has been brought up before, but I want to bring it up again. I swear my voice sounds... ridiculous; it's either monotone, or it's the nasal, almost 'stereotypical nerd voice'. Now I hear you say "well Auxiliary our voice can often sound strange when played back to us, yet to others it probably sounds fine" - well this isn't always the case. I've had times in the past where it seems like others ...

Please help me understand this. Thank you.

This is going to be a long post. Please read and respond. Nobody can help me out with this situation or understand my situation.

Aspergers

I have a feeling a lot of Aspergers isn't really a disease. I mean, a lot of people diagnosed with it, aren't really diseased.

I've heard it is marked by having more neuronal connections in the higher brain. Some of these people are geniuses they call savants. I think, maybe, these are just people who are smarter than others, and these types of people have always existed in mankind. More sensitive, and I think a ...

The "flakiness" of a boxed-in, formulaic, trivial diagnosis

I, being officially diagnosed by my (not very qualified IMO) psychiatrist Aspergers decided to come here instead of the the other forums (antisocial, narcissistic, schizoid) forums to confirm my diagnosis.

Of course, of course, the "psychiatrist" has all the power and jurisdiction and is by law the only one who can diagnose me. Trouble is, we're Chinese. I am Chinese. He is Chinese. He does not speak very good English. Psychiatry was written in English, ...
