Hey folks-I just signed up today. Did a simple google search and found this neat forum. I've had GAD since I was disagnosed back in '95. My family did a great job of trying to cover it up as I washed out of the military due to it. I am going on my second year seeing a psychiatrist, as well as taking my regular prescription of effexor. Has anyone experienced a feeling of ants crawling up his feet or little needles being stuck into them, constantly?

My therapist says this is a sign of anxiety (hypochondriasis).

My GP is not to worried and sent me to take some tests, nothing too urgent.

I have, since I was a child felt bad as the light were lowered in a room and it was all cosy and mabye there was candle-light. Like when you are at a party with your parents or whatever.
