Anxious fear of schizophrenia

I recently tried marijuana. It induced a panic attack in me and caused me to *hallucinate* (for lack of a better term) that I had been schizophrenic as a small child (never happened).

Is it selfish?

I started to write down some goals that i could work towards. One of the things I wrote down was 'to strive for healthy mind, body and soul.' But as soon as I had written it down I felt uneasy. I felt that this was a selfish goal. I think I know deep down that it is important to want and to have these things yet I couldn't come to a reasonable answer why? I'm ...

Does your panic disorder get worse with the changing seasons

I'm just interested in knowing. Personally, my panic disorder usually perks up every spring - I think its a combination of the pollen (I get sinus headaches, phlegm in my throat sometimes, overall gross feeling) and the humidity (very humid in Georgia in Spring and Summer) - those combined make me feel like crap - I can't breathe as well, feel like I can't take a deep breath, and that starts the panic - a ...

Feeling of Doom

I have just be recently diagnosed with anxiety and given meds to control it when I need it. That has worked well; but the last few days, I have had this overwhelming sense of doom. I can't shake it. Granted, there is a lot going on...my dad, who is 87, was healthy and independent until Dec. 4, 2005...he had a stroke that has made him a whisper of his former self...my shepherd of 11 years ...
