7 years Psychiatric-clinic, what boggles me.

Psychiatric-nurses act as psychologists. They judge you, discuss this with other nurses and write reports in ur dossier based on their subjective (collective) opinion. To clarify, they discuss your "profile" (dossier included) and with that information they interact. The response they get from you during that conversation determines the subjective result in ur dossier and determines what they will discuss with eachother and thus influence the further way in which you will be approached. The ...

One life to live

I think I dislike psych for this additional reason: it encourages the view of multiple lifetimes. It heartlessly labels the patient as a dreadfully bad human being for his/her current lifetime; the patient's given name is thoroughly trashed ie. "history of mental illness": no worse condemnation than that is possible and it is tantamount to eternal damnation. "So much for this lifetime", laments society; maybe next time around he/she will be fortunate enough to overcome ...

Whats behind all the abuse in Psychiatry?

I came across an interesting, yet candid conversation. "Every psychology student knows punishment works"

https://imgur.com/a/EcyhgQR

One is left to wonder how many mental health professionals and psychiatrists put this thinking into practice. Viewing patients and inpatients as rats without verbal reasoning abilities that can only be corrected through inflicting pain or negative emotions. I mean in a lawsuit a Canadian psychiatrist openly admitted this- and that psychotropics were just ...

Nowhere to go?

Ahoy old and new forum members and readers!
Probably some of the old folks remember me. I was active a couple of years ago. Some users found my posts interesting. Among different problems, I also described my mental state and my main problem- recursive flashbacks related to the profound and painful disillusion that had happened nine years ago. Some time ago, it seemed to me that the situation improved and my mind cured itself automatically. ...

My stupid screen name , ya they are copy cats too. My copy catting is plagiarism lol COPY pasted all that as if I wrote it. O.k that's out of the way.

Mass shootings and what to do about them is the biggest debate in the US right now.

Brain Damage due to Neuroleptics (?)

Hey There

I have been taking different atypical neuroleptics for almost three years now, and not one single doctor I have been dealing with has ever mentioned that those drugs are suspected to cause brain damage:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3476840/

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfr ... ipsychotic

https://mindfreedom.org/kb/neuroleptic-brain-damage/

these are some examples for research concerning the matter.

I just found out about this today ...

Aug. 1, 2019 BOSTON — A granddaughter of Robert F. Kennedy died on Thursday afternoon after suffering an apparent overdose at the Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port, Mass., according to two people close to the family...

white slaver and the kaffir.

• The Madhouses Act 1774 was the first legislation in the United Kingdom addressing mental health.
• The County Asylums Act 1808 permitted, but did not compel, Justices of the Peace to provide establishments for the care of "pauper lunatics", so that they could be removed from workhouses and prisons.
• The Lunacy Act 1845 established the Board of Commissioners in Lunacy. Justices were forced to build lunatic asylums financed by the local rates.
