Psychiatry Destroyed My Life

Apparently I signed up here years ago, but I'm not sure if I posted an introduction. If there's a place to put an introduction, it certainly is here.

Back when I was a teenager in the 1990s, I was feeling suicidal due to bullying. The world seems to want to all of a sudden come to the rescue of a person once they hear "the s word." I was flat out lied to by my ...

Active Denial System (ADS)

There's some really bad home made $#%^ going on around here. Here is what I found out. Typically used in policing situations.

Symptoms include;
-lasers

-people following you
-burning sensation
-strange cranial sensations "Bugs crawling under your scalp"/"demons"
-eye pain
-eyebrow twitch
-sneezing ...

Escaped from insanity

I recently escaped from insanity (undiagnosed mental illness with psychosis) but no one really seems to care. Some people think that can't happen and I have some kind of "psychotic delusion of being sane." My psychiatrist wasn't the least bit interested in how I think I did it, and just prescribed a new antipsychotic (which maybe means he didn't really believe me). When I tell people how I did it they just kind of look ...

Insufficient placebos for mental stability test

I have a very grave topic I wish to discuss with the psychology community. This topic is that you have used insufficient placebo audiences in the creation of your mental stability tests. You may be able to determine certain trends in a patient which may in fact be attributed to a psychiatric patient's mentality, but you have forgotten to take into account the fact that the patient may in fact be a victim of a ...

Happy people?

I watch Spanish TV documentary about people diagnosed with schizophrenia called "De_Capable" in a free translation "We are Capable" (I don't give the link because the film is in Spanish without English subtitles) . All protagonists of the documentary look like truly happy people. They all have jobs: one works in a book shop, another in a Spanish ministry of justice, one woman is a conveyor operate in a pharmaceutical company etc. Most of them ...

I need to be more productive. How can I accomplish that?

I have been on Risperdal Consta 37.5 mg for more than 8 years now. The medicine seems to work good for some areas, but the side effects are inconvenient. I can't finish my work. I am a Web Developer and I work from home, but for 8 years that I have been a Web Developer I haven't finished a single site. Just going from site to site with out finishing it.

This is a huge ...

Stable on Psychotropics but want to explore alternatives

I have Bipolar type 2 and I've been mostly stable and functioning (kind of) for almost 3 years.

Recently I took myself of the Lamotrigine because I had been struggling with neurological issues from it each time I took it. I would lose control of my limbs after taking it and even had seizures a few times. Also waking up at night in terror because I wasn't breathing.

I complained repeatedly and was ignored or ...

Reporting Doctors to the Medical Board

I want to know: What is reporting doctors to the medical board like, and how effective is it? I am already in the process of filing a complaint against my former psychiatrist and I want to know what to expect, as well as how the complaint process works, and what to see of the results.

If undermethylated what is the minimum amount of supplements

I can get away with taking if I have schizophrenia. I am ditching my antipsychotics and nothing anyone says to me will change that. What I need to know is what is the least amount of alternative supplements you think I can get away with taking without a relapse? For example could I likely just take 100mg b6 once a day, 1500mg methionine twice a day, and this alone would prevent a relapse? I notice ...
