News of Addictions

One of my friend is suffering from spending addiction. She is married but his husband is not known about her problem. Last two months she is suffering from this condition. Please help her to cure her spending addiction. Because It can also affect on her marriage, if her husband knows his addiction. Your suggestions will help to save her life and love.

I thought about starting this diary to keep track of my progress and fall backs, with regards to "addictions".

These are:
1) Internet addiction (mainly youtube, anime, forums)
2) A porn-consumption which doesn't have the qualities of an addiction, but it assumes those of a urge that manifest itself at inopportune times, under which my will mostly falters, and which i want to stop.
3) Spending tendency. I use it as an antidepressant.
4) Gambling ...

Why do you do it? For me, I like to play while I am "watching" a tv episode. But my true focus is on the solitaire, the TV episode is just background noise - there are definitely whole parts of the conversation that I miss. I am often vividly daydreaming while I do it. This will go on for hours on end, sometimes all evening.

Does anyone else do this?
