What exactly do I say, do I mention mental health?

i must admit that i don't tend to much care for american sit-coms. but for some reason this one i find really hilarious. and a thought crosses my mind - is it the AS or NT side of my personality that this appeals to. i'm guessing it's the NT side, because people with AS are supposed to find humour difficult to understand. but i'm curious as to whether there are others that have pondered this ...

I met a girl in June-12 we got few university level courses together, we both were single in university, and both almost of same nature i.e shy, introvert..It happens like this that we become very good friends started to talk on sms/ calls on course matters and by time on social and other issues. by August, we wait for each other at main gate and then goes to classrooms together, sit together, laugh, lunch, ...

I have just a few questions for those who do/have done DBT:
Does DBT reduce distress and therefore symptoms or just symptoms?
Do DBT therapists understand better than other therapists what you are struggling with in terms of ambivalence and abandonment?
Would you reccommend DBT?

Also, has anyone done Schema Focussed therapy?
