A NEW WORLD IS RISING FROM THE DUST

A NEW WORLD IS RISING FROM THE DUST

by ROBERT DAVIDSON

Something new is happening in the world today
You can feel it throbbing in the air
Not even a climate change can break our will
'Cause we've seen the writing on the wall.
It's time, they're chanting. for a new age of hope
'Cause we've all learned how to trust.
You can even touch it with your out-stretched hand -
A new world ...

Staying with a spouse with DD

Hello.
I am new to the forum and so happy that such a place exists. My husband has DD and we have been struggling with it for almost 2 years. He has delusions of persecution and grandeur. I love him very much and do not plan to leave, but I am having a very difficult time coping. I have been plagued with horrible tension headaches and migraines, which are caused by stress according to neurologists ...

You can't escape, if you can't wake up *trigger*

This is my second post now. I posted my first post in C*tting/SI, after looking around a little, I thought I fit in pretty well here too. I think insomnia is the best thing in the whole world. Sleep is dangerous. Sleep makes you vulnerable. When I sleep, my past comes back. I fall asleep, and right away the nightmare starts... He's chasing me.... I'm running, not fast enough..... run faster! ... nope he's got ...

ASPD/NPD and attraction to children/adolescents?

I've recently had a brief encounter with someone in my life, and I'm not sure what to make of it. It's got me pretty freaked out.

The person is a man in his late 30s. He's on disability for a physical ailment, which is obvious, so he doesn't have any particular money or looks. He's generally a nice, fun person. He had an attraction to young girls, and had general-interest posters of celebrities, and screen ...

Admitted to Rehab :( *Careful trigger*

My name is Tina. I'm 21 and this is my first post. I've been c*tting since I was about 13. I was abused pretty badly when I was little, and just started to hate myself and began to think that I deserve the pain. I feel guilty when I'm not in pain. I always want to be alone. I screw up every relationship because they find out I'm a freak and I scare everyone away. ...

Just out of curiosity...

Ever since I've read some of the more obscure Asperger's Syndrome diagnosis criteria from the DSM-IV, I've been wondering this: How many aspies walk in a manner that may be considered atypical or strange? I was teased throughout my entire school existence for having 'bounced when I walked', anybody else have this problem or something like it? Just wondering.

Living out of a %$#* box

It seems a pidgin of mine went through the detox I chair a meeting in the other day. I guess he showed up sometime in the middle of the week. He was discharged by the time I showed up on tuesday. By all accounts he wasn’t looking all that good.

He was sick the last time I saw him, real sick. He had been smoking cocaine and had a stroke. Now apparently he is drinkin’ ...
