Does anyone know if the MMPI is used to diagnose Asperger's?

I have always found that women I date are interested in the test in the book "Please understand Me" as a way of getting closer. When I suggested my HPD take the test, she patently refused, saying tests are BS. I'm curious if others posting here have tried to get them to test, if so, what were the reponses and what were the results? Also, what are your results? Are we all the same type???

It makes me somewhat sad that so many of you are so occupied with figuring out if you're "really" schizoid or not. As if these rude, flawed and outdated categorizations and criteria could embrace the complicated wholeness of being you! I would recommend that when you've first found this forum with the help of the label - diagnosis - your shrink or others has put on you, then forget all about diagnosis and "simply" ...

If a BPD pushes away, then what is the best way to deal with one? Let them cool down a bit and then send a message saying "I am on your side"? or what?

i am 5 ft 4 or 5 and weigh about 97 punds. I think about if I'm eatting too much a lot and it feels overpowering. After I eat a lot I will think I am fat. I look at pictures of me though, and I look very skinny and frail. I just feel that I think about eatting waaay tooo much. I sthis normal?
