I almost fell for it, again!

So, my ex has been very charming lately when arranging an exchange of last personal belongings that we had of each other's. I even started questioning whether or not I was wrong about him. Maybe it was all me and my fault.

Does anyone else ever go into denial about it happening to

them? Or minimize it or excuse it?
Right now I am in a denial mode..gotta say its a lot less stressful than wondering why it had to happen.
