All my life i have had this trouble. I just dont get how to interact without being able to read someones thoughts. I have tried to learn as much as i can to see and hear and feel what peoples inner thoughts are but its not enough. If u cant know exactly what some one is thinking you never know how they are responding to you. So if you cant be well informed about them ...

Does anyone ever just get an impulse to do something, like buy something and then afterwards not even realise why they bought it? Or eating and not thinking about it just do things impulsivly.

Apparently high impulsivty to spend money, eat etc is very common in schizoids.

I am often like this, where my brain is fully functional doing an awful lot of thinking, just not about the external world, leading me to doing things ...

I posted a little while back about my husband, and now I have come to a point where I don't have any idea what to do. I am pretty sure he is borderline; he has 6 out of the 9 characteristics. When he is in that "mode", he cannot be rationalized with, denies past events, says he is never appreciated, never loved and we all hate him, and makes stories up that i cannot convince ...

I was the "other woman" and N has a steady girlfriend for the last 6 years, who he pretends does not exist.

His girlfriend stays with him despite all the horrible things he does, including lying, cheating with other woman, pretending, and D&D her many times. She has told him that she will "always be there for him, and love him, no matter what"...

I imagine those words must be music to a narcissist's years. ...

im in need of help or advice from people in the know. im almost certain i am a sex addict and even if im not i need to curb my behaviour. i cant seem to stop thinking or obsessing about sex, porn, the attractive women i see everywhere, the chase of women, my next sexual encounter etc etc...
it has ruined my last 2 serious relationships because ive cheated compulsively and im not a bad ...

I'd like to discuss this aspect of Narcissism, indicated in the title.

I was wondering - by psyh dynamic, out of which " black whole" do the N's draw their sense of entitlement? Is it the ego, the N trips, climate/environment in which things happen to be favorable for them to exhibit entitlement, or is it something else? It's as if they don't have any "tools" in their head to gauge the situation ...

I am going to be truthful here and this is a pure but truthful fact, I was actually addicted to the forums I used to visit. I was actually thinking of the posters as if they were real people and I was thinking more about them rather than my OWN LIFE.
My health actually suffered but here are some steps to take.
Make sure the Internet is in a PUBLIC PLACE, like the living room ...
