Everywhere I look it seems the only 'treatment' available consists of forcing people into social situations and communication.
Well, I've been forced into socialising of late, and it's just giving me more painful experiences and memories and makes me want to hide away, isolate myself completely - excluding my boyfriend - forever. My AvPD is getting worse.
So, if that doesn't work, rather the opposite... if there isn't some sort of cognitive therapy instead, focusing ...
