Hello everyone, I just joined this forum. I'm not sure if I posted this in the right section, but I'm guessing its nearly right.
I'm going to ask a question which I KNOW hundreds of little trolls have asked. :shock: Am I schizoid? :? (I came across that term while researching on personality disorder and thought, "wow! that's me.") ...

I dunno if this forum is still active, but if anyone is ready to listen, I think I'm finally ready to talk about it. I just...I just started having flashbacks tonight, and was tearing up. I was looking into places I usually close off from myself.

I apologise for this being as long as it is.

I do not like discussing my problems and up till now, have only confided in my girlfriend. In doing so, and through the course of our developing relationship, I have increasingly realised the severity of my difficulties. Unfortunately, a therapist is not feasible due to financial constraints, the likelihood I shall have to move and travel frequently in the near future, and for other reasons ...

I know, I know. I just posted a thing not even five minutes ago, but while I was scanning through the site, something hit me like a pile of bricks...

DID is caused by the cliche reoccurring abuse, but every time I see the word "abuse" I think hiding bruises under long sleeve shirts, and fearing for your life on a daily bases. Well, I've never been put in that bad of a situation...

Okay, question for those AsPDers who have had sex:


I've heard tons of stuff about sex, how it's so great, yada yada yada, but everyone I've heard it from is a non. One thing I've heard them mention is the "emotional attachment" and how you feel like you're bonding to your partner and whatnot, but that seems like a problem as far as AsPD is concerned. So psychos, tell us, is it that great, or ...

My bpd ex BF and i parted ways 5 weeks ago. I am avoiding all contact for now however there will be times where we cross paths. When that happens I need to be sure about what to say if he approaches me. Does "I wish you well, however I don't want to have contact with you" sound ok. I need to keep it succinct without hurting anyone.

Autism is sometimes associated with very fast reading, what's about Asperger?
How fast do your read?

I happen yo be quite slow, like 15 pages/hour. I used to read something like 50 pages/hour when I was younger..Maybe I need to stop more and my reading are more advanced, but it's a bit frustrating sometimes.

And by the way, do you like reading, what's your tastes?

We should start a non-mod council to vote who should stay and go. Of course, it would require only the best of this forum, those frequently connected and those who aren't here to troll. One could take charge of the admissions to that council.
