Only a couple times in my life, I experienced this very weird state where I was almost manic in a sense. I have never been able to explain it to a therapist or psychiatrist. I am newly diagnosed... by the psychologist so far, though I am being sent to a shrink to have my BPD formally diagnosed. I've probably had BPD, since my teen years, possibly earlier (I'm 52 now). As you might have guessed, being diagnosed so late in life, I've had many struggles in my life because of BPD related issues and my hampered coping skills.
