I think thats what happened to my girlfriend today. she says that her and bethony(alter) is one now. and that she thanked me for helping her. She said that she wasnt her self every since she knew me because the pills her family made her take. And every since i told her to stop taking them she listened(3months ago). and now she says she is one with her alter....

Just wondered if you do not suffer from psychosis then how do you differentiate hypo-mania from mania. Like when does it switch?

Please excuse my ignorance, I am newly diagnosed and dont really understand my illness yet.


I feel in-between at the moment. my pdoc told me I was hypo-manic last week but I have gotten worse since. This is how I feel:

Been in a horribly deep depression for 7 months now with psychosis, nothing has helped. Doctors are saying I could be med resistant. I feel for everyone that is going through this. The feeling is like nothing I ever went through in my life and i'm scared. I used to be such a high achiever, now I can't remember a thing, and I have a hard time grasping concepts. Example, hard time following story lines ...

Wasn't sure where to put this, but this seems okay.

Is obsession a feature of BPD?

I haven't so much obsessed with "belonging" to one person, but more with taking membership in paticular group. I'm not sure that the former is much different from the latter, because both seem to have to do with deriving identity from an external affiliation.
