My aim right now is to get the whole family through a coronavirus pandemic unscathed. Having resigned back in early 2019 after a few major life changes and a great deal of #######1 I completed the purchase of the farm shortly before corona hit. My aim back then was to get the stud operating and breaking even within 5 years. However we're still stuck in limbo and while my income has not felt the sting yet that's not far down the line. Who knows what the economy is going to look like a few years down the line. It will work out though not necessarily in the way I had envisaged, however can't do anything much if you're dead or crippled by long term pulmonary issues.

Obviously I'd like my long term health problems to sod off, but that's been going of for years at this point.

It's usually the lack of structure rather than boredom which causes people to get unglued.

I know a few people who have started farming mostly for personal not commercial. They are raising animals and vegetables I guess the goal is to be completely self sufficient which sounds alittle paranoid but with the way this year has gone I wouldn’t doubt anything from happening.
Just another sock puppet in a dancing children’s show for the amusement of the masses

My father decided to "dig for victory" shortly after lockdown started. Thus far I understand from mum the net result has been having to eat an awful lot of courgettes. Courgette coleslaw, courgette cakes and so on...

Starvation rather loses its sting.

I believe special A reported it since it was taken down so quickly.
I'll be sure to give lots of attention if he asks for it again while I'm in a reactive mood, but I'm not too bad today.

I still want to learn to decrease my reactiveness though. I'm doing a lot better, but it's not enough.

It's cool seeing everybody's answers.
