Some times ago I listened on YouTube a music that was associated to multiple cerebral waves; they were gradually changed so that your brain was slowly driven to the state of the deep sleep.
I was able to stay awake. When “deep sleep” arrived, I was in a very deep trance,
so peaceful and pleasant that I was sorry when the voice said we were going to leave it.
I enjoy life, but I recalled living as something painful, happened in a far and superficial zone. I hadn't a painful life, but I became aware of the constant, little effort we are doing to do everything, even to exist. I wasn't aware of that before, and it was perceived as painful compared to the other state, that was totally relaxed.
