i dont think we need to be self sabataging to be successful.

tho it does help us live and learn, build us up, make us stronger and bullsht

some people have minimal hickups along their jounrny, and i wouldnt say those people are any less better or powerful or whathaveyou

i think it spices up life and puts things in perspective, but not necesairly necesary to be successful.

I think to an extent we do self-sabotage subconsciously, as it provides us with an opportunity to rebuild, and therefore succeed at, what we know we can do.

If you never fail, then everything becomes commonplace and you need to do more and more to satisfy any change from the status quo.

I remember a news article about some banker during one of the major stock market crashes. He was worth hundreds of millions, but lost a couple of million in the crash and killed himself.

His whole life was toppled by a small percentage change in his life. We need failure to help, as you say, gain perspective, so it would follow that failure is a healthy and essential tool.

Evolution would train us to be able to fail successfully.
I'm not arguing; I'm explaining why I'm right.
