Tandem jumps are only a couple of hundred quid last I checked.

I think I will. I can imagine it to be a great feeling of calm.

I’ve done it, you will be scared but when you are done you will feel so euphoric you will remember it forever

Throwing yourself out of an airplane 15,000 ft off the ground is unnatural enough to generate some fear I would have thought.

Free fall itself is a bit of a sensory assault. If you go on to do the accelerated free fall course, it takes a couple of jumps to become acclimatised to it. It does only last 30-60 seconds though.

It’s also harder than people imagine to remain aerodynamically stable during free fall, and tumbling unlikely to be good for your health.
