Maybe. Seems like nervousness though.
I'm not arguing; I'm explaining why I'm right.

I've always fancied jumping out of an aeroplane.

With a parachute of course.

So, why don’t you?

Tandem jumps are only a couple of hundred quid last I checked.

I think I will. I can imagine it to be a great feeling of calm.

I like that falling feeling as well.

I’ve done it, you will be scared but when you are done you will feel so euphoric you will remember it forever

I always wonder what the fear is. Is it landing or is it if the parachute doesn't open?

I like the feeling of being out of control.

As if you, sir, weren't a known button-pusher.

Throwing yourself out of an airplane 15,000 ft off the ground is unnatural enough to generate some fear I would have thought.

Free fall itself is a bit of a sensory assault. If you go on to do the accelerated free fall course, it takes a couple of jumps to become acclimatised to it. It does only last 30-60 seconds though.

It’s also harder than people imagine to remain aerodynamically stable during free fall, and tumbling unlikely to be good for your health.
