i think it was a figure of speach.

doubt one would care about admitting things online.

so as for the op, its really hard to figure out someones "core".

especially w one who has many facets to their personality.

could all be a show, pretending to be sensitive to have u walking on egg shells then swing back around and getcha when you least expect it. pretending to be humble and easily swayed.

its all a show. narcissistis usually like to show there good side, while psychpaths more likely to show there faults so they can get ur gaurd down too.

Vulnerability is a powerful tool.

Out of curiosity Jomp are their any roles which your personality won't bend enough to allow you to play? Are you as comfortable as a brown nosing sycophant as a charismatic leader for example, if it gets you to the same end goal?

I find this difficult, and try to offset the weasel-likeness of it by finding less contrived ways to bolster another's ego.

I'm not sure it would fly anyway, as my work self is very brash and direct.

Me neither, I just don't bend that way. It's anything which requires the the surrender agency I think, I can be vulnerable, even pathetic but can't abide being controlled.

It could arguably described as narcissistic on some level though, at least in my case.

Hi saucygirl :) thank you for your answer.

Right.
Not sure, but I thought that narcissists believe their fake self-image, while psychopaths would seem less impersonated. I know someone that could be both, but I struggle to understand if he believes his show or doesn't and that's my main difficulty to establish if he is a narcissist or a psychopath.

i dont think narcissists believe it. their aware or else why shame?

and psychopaths in my mind are just as impersonated.
