While it may be a typical schizoid thing maybe its exactly taht "we" are in such a internalized world without the usual relations to others - and the usual lack of dependence, respectively underlining of independence - that we also dont really miss them; not only emotionally but also structurally.
I mean I have virtual conenctions to a tiny degree but I also live basically secluded since about 15-20yrs now. Not comparable to a clean-room though >_>.

Frankly to go from sane to psychotic in under 10 days, without chemical interference, verges on the ridiculous.

Dunno, if youre in a retreat youre basically sitting on your ass all day "meditating" I can believe taht you can go bonkers quickly if you are unstable. Well... then of course the whole ordeal itself is not very sane ;)

Yes you get unaddicted to supply, but it takes knowing your worth and understanding what God wants for you in your life. It takes u understanding npd. I recommend a book i read that explains it best, The Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Bible by Shannon Alder. It gives a spiritual perspective on Narcissism and really helped me

I tried before. I hit a low point and went psychotic. Similar experience, where you will do ANYTHING for attention. Even pull the fire alarm, talk to a cop and tell him to arrest you, etc. It is crazy what the mind can do.

I think it's important to have a stable source of supply. Whether it be finances, a significant other, etc. The worst is when people have kids and use their kids as supply (happened in my family).

Similar to other addictions, everything in MODERATION is ok. You do not have to go completely dry from it, you just need to learn to moderate it. Then it can be healthy. After all, EVERY human needs narcissistic supply these days with their addictions to social media (no joke). People will go to the psych ward from not getting enough "Likes" on Instagram.
