What do you think of anger?
People here are supposed to feel anger easily - or maybe it's just an image
The only feeling I can perceive relatively consciously is fear. All other emotions I dont feel at all; I experience them either intuitively or they are somatized and can be completely undecipherable.
As to the typical picture of the anger outbursts of "the narcissist", nah I don't get angry easily at all. I had anger problems as a small child but I think that was rather a result of neglect, not of some PD.
i feel anger is quite a positive feeling
at least better then depression - even if they can have sometimes the same source
My therapist pointed out a while ago, that emotions are indicators for action and anger indicates the unhappiness with how the situation is and the will to have it changed. I think it sets it apart from hatred, where the pathway to change has been blocked by an obsessional fixation on the object of such hatred. This also - both theoretically and in my experience - is why it's important to acknowledge anger, because when it gets supressed you also loose touch of a part in you that has agency.
