Are your friends all narcissists?

Postby Knoxious » Mon Dec 11, 2017 5:49 pm

My good friends are all narcissists. Undiagnosed of course, but very similar to me in many ways. I have a couple co-dependent acquaintances who i do not consider real friends.

How about you?

Your friends are not narcissists. You are just unconsciously projecting.

Birds of a feather flock together. We are where that expression comes from. In every English small town there is a gaggle of narcissists (of all species) who drink together in the same pub and migrate from one pub to another. Our families inter marry. We have to, because we can't maintain relationships with normal people. We are attracted to the same professions. We work together. We socialise together. The film and television industry (which we populate) make millions out of the notion that Humanity is divided into two species; Humans and vampires. Royal families and gipsy families are all narcissists; the highest and the lowest. In some cultures (Islamic ones especially) everyone is on The Spectrum. Narcissistic families in the West are a throwback to an earlier time. We are everywhere. We are the richest and the poorest. The most creative. The most power hungry. We are everywhere. The World wouldn't work without us. Merry Christmas One and All.

100% agree. Like attracts like. I only date/want to marry narcissistic women. Why would I want a normal woman who might squander my fortune? Survival of the fittest.
Diagnosed partially of each: NPD, BPD, Bipolar 2, OCPD, OCD

Sort of. Yeah, we attract each other and we do build our own hierarchies, but there are plenty of other disorders in that mix, and you may also be falsely attributing NPD to people with a good amount of healthy narcissism. Politics, the entertainment industry, and any profession that offers supply attracts us, but that doesn't mean everyone pursuing such a career is nutcase. Neither are all your friends or drinking buddies.

This has a lot to do with it.
