@covertunsure, no, I am formally diagnosed w/ BPD. I doubt it is very accurate as a diagnostic tool. Self assessing is biased, it would be more accurate for a professional, over several sessions and interactions to make that determination. Because, for instance, with my circumstance, my idea of myself changes, I go through the same “idealize, devalue” stage with myself. If a professional administered this test to me right now as a means of diagnosis, I would probably score a bit higher than the average adult. But if they had used the same test 4 months ago maybe, or even on a bad day, I doubt I would’ve answered “narcissistically” to any of the questions. Does that make sense?
