Hyacinth Bucket (Pronounced "Bouquet" according to Hyacinth) from Keeping Up Appearances.

Even though it is a slap stick comedy of sorts. Hyacinth reeks of narcissim. She has to one up other people around her. Act like she is in the upper class even though she is middle class. Her husband follows her orders otherwise she chucks a tantrum. It is always a gaff where the side characters all go "Poor Richard".

Another regular gag is she orders her neighbour Elizabeth about, makes snide comments about Elizabeth's appearance, hobbies etc all in the guise of being nice and only thinking of Elizabeth's best interest.

Hyacinth tries to keep it all together to present the upper class woman.
