Ok Soltice1962, that's enough youtube links for now. If you're unable to use dialogue to talk about the points you want to make and keep lazily resorting to doing it this way then this thread will end up the way it's currently going - no one else partaking, just you and your youtube links on your own.

Please try and use this forum a bit more responsibly.

Thanks for the narcissistic injury. I'm over it now. I tend to address my posts to Normals, Nons and other Coverts. You High Functioning and Grandiose types just talk to the mirror. I might as well talk to a brick wall. I know enough of you in life! I'm off forum for good. What's needed is a forum specifically for Fragile Narcissists! Without two Narcissistic Perfectionists in particular, the UK would be speaking German now and, also, Christians would have no religion and Britain no next king! Just a couple of final YouTube references for you.

Mate, you have plenty to say and some interesting points of view, all you need to do is take the advice and use the forum to discuss your ideas and not keep posting silly links instead all the time. It seems pointless and childish to just leave the forum in a huff because a moderator has told you to write what you want to say instead of using the forum like a facebook or twitter account which is not conducive to good disscussion. There are a few places where that sort of posting style does sort of work like the ASPD forum, but not many.

This IS a forum for fragile N's, ALL N's are fragile. There are no seperate cliques despite what you might want to think. What is relevant on here is our commonalies, not our differences. I'm talking all across the whole forum, whether it be mood or personality disorders, victims of this or that. We're all experiencing instability or fragility of some kind.

It'd be a shame if you do take this stance, but I'll leave it up to you.

Don't leave, solstice, you post intelligent, knowledgeable stuff about politics and narcissism and life in general, and I don't want to lose another narcissist from this forum, there aren't that many of us!

Despite what we all say about having no real inner selves, I find the genuine differences between all of us really interesting, and you're a one off! (I deleted that last bit, then typed it back again, because I meant it nicely! :D )

He's also the only other person here who likes Vaknin. I don't think I'll last long alone.

Well hopefully he'll take all this on board and come back soon Bitty. And I don't 'like' Vaknin truthtoolate, but that doesn't mean don't I think his book was valid.

To keep things relevant to the disscussion of Narcissism, the idea of no real inner self is a myth, there isn't really such a thing as someone with no real inner self. The issue for N's is in not having access to the real core of who we are caused by the emotional blockage from defence mechanisms.

If we had no real inner self we wouldn't react so strongly to percived injuries.

If you consider soltsices reaction to my post, nobody without a sense of self would react in such a passionate way. The feelings there were very real to him and very strong. The point being that like the rest of us who are still lost in our disorder, they were based on an inability to proccess the incoming and outgoing information in a genuine or realistic way.
