D - I'm not going to add to your distress by being too critical. Up until middle age I was a pain in the arse. I used and misused people, especially women and was indifferent in the extreme. Labels is for baggage! The criteria for dignosis has changed in recent years. Fragile types like me start reading Freud whilst we are still in short trousers. Please do your research.
In the words of the song: "I am what I am. And, what I am needs no excuses..."

The album 'is this it' seems to capture the spirit of NPD, and the lead singer looks like a narcissist so that could be why (or i could just be delusional here) Stick the album on when im feeling empty and it sort of makes me feel like yeah, atleast im not the only one who feels this $#%^

I see narcissism in this song. Having to be mirrored as exceptional (chased after, bathed in wine), self-awareness (knowing that's not how it should be), what it would be like to be like the other person (nothing to get around).
Don't let the fact it's technically a rap song put you off this 10 minute masterpiece, and This Captures the narcisisst condition at its absolute Rock bottom, IMO
