Normal attraction age range, for guys?

Hi, I'm 17, a senior in high school. What is the age range of girls I should be attracted to?

There is no "should." Even if you are attracted to someone out of that range, you can't change that.

Also depends on what country you live in.

I've seen people go by the "half your age plus seven” rule so if you are 17, you could "freely" date someone who is as young as 15, but no younger. And for the maximum age, you'd take your current age (17), subtract seven (10) and multiply it by two. (20). So your age range would be 15-20

That's just the model some people use. But again, you're going to be attracted to what you are no matter what you "should" be.

There is no such age range for likes or dislikes. It totally depends upon the your interests. You can like someone who is older than you , or younger than you . So it doesn't really matter.

From a purely evolutionary standpoint (if that's your belief) then biologically, we men are designed to be attracted to females who exhibit healthy secondary sexual characteristics. Fuller hips for childbearing, breasts for nursing, clear skin and long hair which are indicators of good health. These are visual clues that tell us a potential partner is capable of bearing a healthy child of ours and thus pass along our DNA.

So it's pretty natural to be attracted to any girl that exhibits these characteristics. They could be younger or older than you.

Now ACTING on those urges is a whole different matter and you should consult your state laws in case you're attracted to someone younger than you.
