Hello all.

Just introducing myself and saying hi.
Been looking around here for a few days. Joined when I was feeling quite desperate about a family situation. Somehow my mood has lifted. Thought I would still hang around cos some very interesting topics in here.
I am BPD with anxiety and addiction issues. Pretty housebound most of the time.
Have two cats I adore...an artist of sorts, and not really much going on in my life at the moment.

I think most of my family suffers from BPD so I am guessing it is a pretty common disorder. Of course I am the one who acts out the most...so even though I see my traits in them, it seems more obvious in me and so I am the "black sheep'.
Families seem to have to have at least one member to say "oh that one is crazy, we are all better than her/him".... I personally think the crazy ones are just being more honest with their vulnerabilities.

And yeah, it seems most of the population has at least a sprinkling of a PD.
