I was actually recommended here by someone offsite.
I've been looking for a support forum for abuse survivors that was a safe environment that didn't make everything feel like a competition. I heard this place was very kind and the people here were very supportive, so I decided to give it a try.
I'm Lillian, I'm sixteen years old, I'm a parent. I have a daughter who'll be two in March. She is actually a product of rape. I suffered a bit from Postpartum Depression for a short while, and sometimes it sneaks up on me every now and then, but I think most of it's been worked out in therapy. I think I'm really here looking for a safe, supportive environment where I can give help, and receive it without feeling out of place, or feeling like I'm not up to par.
As I said, some of the other Abuse "Support" forums that I've been a part of, usually end up becoming like a contest, where members compared experiences and somewhat try to tell who's been through the most trauma. Either that, or they were filled with judgmental people. I'm trying to avoid that, and I hope I can find what I'm looking for here.

I'm still pretty new to this, I may have some questions.
