And a good evening to you!

Yep.

Well, hi. My name's Dag and I'm from Manchester, UK. I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder I (rapid cycling) in January 2008 but I've never really found a forum that looked appropriate with which to discuss it until I stumbled across this place! I've been through some dreadful times, as I'm sure a lot of people reading this have, or even are doing. At the moment I'm on the upswing after a recent depression, hoping not to go manic. For a while I worked for my University's voluntary "Nightline" service in which we provided confidential listening to those having troubles. Hopefully I might be able to transfer the same sympathies to some of you on here.

Also, I like playing the violin, photography, poetry and a whole host of obscure academic subjects :D

See you around!
