Introducing Self

Hello, I'm posing as Rainbow Mom. I'm a married lesbian with three children. I have been self harming, mostly cutting since I was 10 years old. I'm looking for people who understand or may not understand, who've been there and someone to talk to. I had an episode last night and the doctor acted more pissed and aggravated that I didn't know why I did it. I'm scared, lost and ashamed. I know I want to stop, but not sure what direction to go in from there.

I assume you've already seen the Cutting and Self Injury Forum (if not, here's the link cutting-self-injury). I'm sure you'll find members there who have been through similar things. I'm sorry the doctor wasn't very sympathetic I wish you the best.
