My name is Joe and I'm new

Hi people

I found you all by looking for mental health forums. I've been to other forums but got kicked out twice on two different ones because of a misunderstanding of words. Hopefully that won't happen here. I'll be on my best behaviour.

A little about me: I'm 25/male/USA. I've been seeing a counselor for 10 years. My hobbies or interests are video games (survival horror), scary movies (psychological ones and gory ones), stand up comedy (my favorites are Bill Cosby and Eddie Murphy), collecting things such as certain Disney toys, postcards, candles that smell good, beanie hats, and I do a LOT of ebaying. On Ebay I tend to get 80's toys, rare toys, labrets body jewelry, bell bottom pants (when they're available in my size), books (children's books because I have trouble reading adult books), worry rings, thumb rings, rings and necklaces with an Alexandrite jewel (even if it's cheap), video games, movies and music cd's of my favorite bands.

My psychiatrist writes down in my file the words: "BAD and psychotic features". I snuck and read it when he wasn't in the room. I don't know what BAD is but I hope it's not a bad thing to be diagnosed with. I hear voices in and out of my head. They often explain what I'm doing or going to do. WIthout medications mum says I get "wacky" and say things "off the wall", and the voices get worse without my meds too. Here are the psych drugs I've been prescribed: prozac, klonopin, abilify, depakote, and trazadone. I also have a stuttering problem. It's not severe, thankfully. I also have twitchy eyes and I can often feel my nerves going out of control, like the nerve is twitching or something.
I hope someone can relate to me. I need friends. The only ones I have are 15 on myspace and most of them never talk to me. BTW I've had 2 psychiatric evaluations. The last one said that I had DID (multiple personalities). But hear this - they told me to fill out only half of the evaluation, then they said in my results that I was very uncooperative and to basically 'watch out' because my answers may be incorrect. That ticked me off. I want to take a re-test and fill the WHOLE thing out. Then I wonder what they'd say.

BAD is Bipolar Affective Disorder; basically, just bipolar. It's ironic that it has the acronym of 'bad' - You do'nt really say why you came here, but I'll assume that you're just looking to relate to other people and get some friends. Also, I can assure you that it'll take a lot for you to get banned here, unless you're a spammer. Spammers get kicked off in an instant, most of the time. What are your favourite Eddie Murphy movies? - I'm a big fan of his too. He is a great actor. What else... ...di you go through school? If you've been seeing a counsellor for 10 years, that means that you've been seeing on since you were 15 (when you would have been in school).

OH about Eddie Murphy, I just like the stand up comedies, "Raw" and "Delerious (sp?)". ALL of his movies are my favorites. If I'm not mistaking, he was also in Michael Jackson's video Remember The Time. Was that him?
School: I stopped public school after 10th grade. My principal didn't like me so he tried his darndest to get me into trouble. When I left for home schooling, mum told him exactly why I was going to home school - because principal Floyd was always picking on me. Once a huge girl at school threatened to beat me up. I reported her but he done nothing about it.

Yes I began therapy while I was 15. I was always excused from typing class to take therapy. I didn't have to make up those days. Typing class was the last period of the day. And my counselor Carrie always made it near the end of a school day, so I'd usually miss the last hour of school.

You will never get ignored here, I can assure you about that. You seem to be a very nice person, but you have suffered a lot in life already, and you are still young. Well, I'll tell you this: Do'nt ever give up on anything because you still have a lot of potential. CAn you talk some more about why you left school though? - I mean, are you sure that the principal didn't like you? I would fine it hard to believe that a principal would effectively force a student out of school. A pesron doesn't become principal by being a cruel idiot... ...or do they?

I know that you're not a spammer either... If you were, then you'd have been booted off yesterday I can't tolerate people who just come here to spam.
