Hi, I'm Material. It's really hard for me to introduce myself, but I felt it was necessary if I intend to respond to any posts or ask for advice here. That's what I'm here for, to give and receive feedback. It's a forum, after all. Thanks for reading, have a lovely day. :)

First of all thanks for all the reading material on HPD. It's good to read of and relate to real world experiences.

I'm very attracted to a woman with strongly defined HPD - not as one of her "marks" but sliding in sideways, as it were. I've read many pieces of advice posted here, most of which can be summed up as: "Run for the hills."

Well, we'll see. I have nothing to lose and now I have a pretty good idea of what's going on, so I'm going to give it a try with my eyes wide open. Probably. Possibly.

There are just so many variables. How much does she realise herself? Can the cause be addressed? It's not just getting under the defences, it's staying there - these people have pretty good brooms.

Wish me luck, peeps.

hello there:)
I'm Emily or ShadesOfGray.. I'm a newbie, and don't really know much about this site, so help is appreciated:) I haven't actually been clinically diagnosed with BPD or APD but after doing a good deal of looking into it and myself, I'm fairly certain that's what I'm dealing with... anyone who can relate is welcome to get back to me.

Hey Emily,

You can ask me about anything you need help with. Many of the forums here are kind of quiet, so remember to take a look before you post. If you post in a quiet one, then you might not get a reply from anyone but me! I try my best to reply to the posts that go unanswered by everyone else.

When yuo say BPD and APD, I'm assuming yuo mean Borderline PD and Antisocial PD?
