Signatures for new members

Hello everyone. I am in the process of setting up my profile and wanted advice on what the most common settings people use. I have been trying to add my list of medications as a signature (see example below) but I keep getting an error that I have zero characters left. Not sure if this is because I am a new user or not - maybe a moderator can point me in the right direction for support.
