Hi,
my username is 'Creatures lie here' and I am a very private but pretty normal person.
OK, let's start with things I like and I don't like:
I like: movies, science, action and smart humans
I don't like: boredom, small talk and talking about feelings
Things I have to work on:
Chess - I actually never played it, I definitely have to!
Laughing - It's so complicated! Smiling isn't enough, you have to laugh all the time.
Listening to other people talking bout there feelings - How comes they always feel that much? They're probably just making it up. But I should really improve in listening.
Small talk - Kay, I hate it but it's necessary. You have to do it all the time. Who invented it? Why can't we just come straight to the point?
There many things more but you're already bored, aren't you?
The reason I am here is that I am really interested in psychology and neurology.

Small talk, is part of the social grease, in my opinion, that helps human interaction to go smoothly.

That's really interesting! So you think without small talk it would be difficult to connect?
Well, it's not only knowing when to laugh. Knowing when to laugh is difficult because I sometimes don't get the joke like I didn't got the meaning of the Smiley after your first sentence. But even more difficult is to get the laugh right. Last time I laughed everyone in the room stopped laughing ans started staring at me. Afterwards I heard them talking bout my creepy "evil" laugh.
Your green name suggests that you know this place: How can I disable these annoying Login messages?

There's got to be a reason people do a lot of small talk- I've never been much of one for it, with strangers, anyway, but I can fake it well enough, and even initiate it, on occasion.

You speak of getting your laugh right. Do you mean that your natural laugh is unusual in some way? Or that it's something you don't do- thus needed to... practice?

Yeah, there's gotta be. If there weren't one, we wouldn't still have small talk.
I have no natural love. That's maybe the only thing not 100% normal with me. I didn't laugh. I learned to laugh when I grew older and now I do laughing and smiling but it's a really weird thing for me. I did do smiling (at least on the old family pictures ) but my parents never got me to laugh. They always thought I was a really dreamy kid.

When I log in, all I see is a message on the screen that I'm now logged in.,..?

You can reduce the number of logins, by checking the box to keep you automatically logged in. If it's safe to do so, without other people accessing your account.

Everytime I do login I get a private message. But problem solved for the moment I've enabled cookies for the day. (Here is a smile for you!

Cookies are good lol. I didn't know a private message comes with every login without cookies? I'll have to see into that sometime.
