You can call me Terror (hardcore regretting using a band name as my user because I can't just say "I'm blessthefall" ehhh impulse - so Terror's a random alternative I guess). I like music and ballet and tumblr and Call of Duty.

I'm here because I have been working on DBT for BPD, and it's been infuriating me in a way that's pointed me and my therapist towards a co-morbid Axis II of Antisocial Personality Disorder (it's not as far fetched in context as I'm thinking that sounds there...) and I don't really know what that means. I do, because I know feeling it, but what in me is BPD, what in me is A[s?]PD, how can I use that to help myself, and can I get proof that there really are people who aren't the murdery randos we call "Antisocial//psychopaths" in pop media (trying to make that not sound offensive - let me know if it is? And letting me know nicely if it is would be cool too haha). BPD's a pretty hip diagnosis, so finding info and personal accounts on that was for the most part a piece of cake especially since Antisocial and Borderline are in the same cluster thing or whatever so I could relate to the BPD ones in almost all capacities because of the overlap. But finding anything on Antisocial has been a real struggle, especially when you inevitably do have to weed out the murdery randos who just talk about murdery things which is not therapeutically useful :/

So I guess I just want to be sure that I don't have to be a murdery rando in order to be valid. Yay personality disorders.
