Grettings!

Postby celticcracker » Sun Jan 04, 2015 10:34 pm

Hi there!

My name is Celtic Cracker. I'm in my early 20s and have been suffering an array of complicated and on-going issues since the turbulent strum und drang of adolescence, issues which were probably caused by a history child sex abuse, which I experienced at the sprightly young age of 5. I've went through serious depressions and alcohol dependence. Right now, I'm clutching on for dear life as that sick, cyclical winter demon closes in on me: singing the blues, lamenting the booze, and tightening the screws.

I'm a university student of the arts and I joined this forum because, like all, I have questions and I hope to connect with other people who know something about the human spirit and about the soul when it suffers. Looking forward to my journey here.

That's a beautiful avatar, Celtic Cracker. :D

You're welcome here. I'm glad you've found us. And hope you find some support and company in looking for answers.

More than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness.

Hi Ada! Thanks a million! The avatar is one I stole out of tribute from an artist on Deviant Art (http://nikeyvv.deviantart.com/art/Celti ... -385222258), who is simply phenomenal. I like your avatar also. It reminds me of Ayn Rand, of whom I am a great admirer.

Thank you for your wishes. I hope you've had love and peace through your journey and continue to do so.
