I very much doubt that I need to be on here to rant/rave/vent/seek help - but what I would like is to be able to help others who do feel the need to do so, and to share my experience of what got me through some of the worst times. Unlike some, I do not give platitudes. I would never suggest to anybody that they 'settle down and have a mug of hot chocolate or a nice bath' ... or 'sleep on it, you'll feel better in the morning'. I'm sensitive enough to know that these things are about the last thing anybody suffering wants to hear. I will never attempt to suggest that I 'know how a person feels' either - nobody can truly know that. The suffering of the individual is unique to the individual. I can't say I'm in the same boat as any of you, but we're certainly on the same tide
