Durn it!
I wanted to introduce myself and typed a whole page and hit preview and it disappeared!!

Hey EstyEsty and welcome!
Thanks for the intro. Sorry to hear your original post disappeared. I know that's frustrating. There is an automatic time out on the site which I believe is 20 minutes. In order to protect against losing any posts you have made, you can check the "log me in automatically" box on login as well as copying your text before submitting.
