Sugestion...

Postby anonymous112 » Tue Jul 19, 2011 6:29 pm

I have a sugestion some might agree with but some may not, it's not something I feel is important to have on the site but I think it could be usefull :)

On Psychforums there are many moments for me where I type up a long post or PM and I must admit sometimes it takes a while, the problem is that once I have finnished it then click 'submit' I lose it all because I have been inactive for too long and the site requires me to sign back in but when I do eerything I have typed up is gone and I have to re-do it which means it's usually not as good as the origional. This has happened to me a fair few times now and I can't imagine it hasn't happened to others too, my suggestion is that maybe there could be an auto-save feature which saves your message whist you are typing it every so often, that way you don't lose everything.

Like I said, it's not important I feel but it's something worth considering right?

If you click "submit" and it does not post. Click the back button in the browser. Select your text and press Ctrl-C. Log in, get back to reply and press Ctrl-V.
I think there is a way to permanently be logged in. I only logged in once, so that is the best solution if possible for you.
Otherwise, I would recommend you type your posts in a text editor.
I desired love and fellowship, and I was still spurned. Was there no injustice in this? Am I to be thought the only criminal, when all humankind sinned against me?
