I just wrote a very long post in the OCD section & clicked on preview to view the post before publishing it. For some reason though i was not logged in anymore, the forum just logs you out after some time i guess. Anyway, i was told to login again and after i did the post, all i had written, was gone . Thank you website. Anyway, if someone reads this, ALWAYS remember to save stuff you have written, copy & paste it in editor or whatever, so you don't end up having to write it all again.

This should serve as a cautionary tale to anyone reading, hope this is allowed.

The best thing to do is always to check the tick box for 'log me in automatically each visit'; this helps with the log out/lost post issues. Or use a text editor for long or long thought-out posts, many people do that.

Just remember to log yourself out if that box is ticked, if privacy on the device used is an issue.
